• HIGHWAY 34 CONSTRUCTION UPDATE, October 02, 2007.

The Construction at the East end of the project will continue . Starting tomorrow morning (10/3/07), the intersection of Chestnut will be closed through Friday afternoon for construction of storm sewer.  Traffic will be able to use Mulberry Street.

Also, beginning either Friday (10/5/07) or Monday (10/8/07) longitudinal subdrain will begin to be installed on the East section. Intersections will be temporarily closed as they cross through them with the subdrain.

Tentatively, paving of mainline is scheduled for the week of Oct. 15th depending on weather.
