	Highway 34 Construction Updates • East portion (Phase 1, west of Sumner, east of Pine Street), May 11, 2007. "The contractor will begin working on the East portion (Phase 1, Just west of Sumner east to Pine St. ) of the project starting Wednesday afternoon, they will be installing traffic control devices and placing paint lines in preparation to place traffic head to head on the North 2 lanes . The traffic switch will take place Thursday morning weather dependant. They will begin Sanitary Sewer installation from Division St. west to approximately Wyoming St." Don Stevens, Iowa Dot
