• June 8 Highway 34 Construction Update

Beginning on the afternoon of June 8th, local traffic will again be able to use Highway 34 through town on the East portion, the closure just East of Hwy 25 (Sumner) will be opened.

On Monday, June 11th, the storm sewer crew will be working at Division Street and the sanitary sewer crew will be working at Oak Street. These two intersections will be closed to local traffic for 3 to 4 days.

Smith St. on the West end of Hwy 34 is also opened, the High and Dry Road(Lincoln St) at the West portion of the project has one lane opened. The contractor is working on intake tops and driveways on the West End.
